Buffalo State is hosting a free interactive Lecture called: The Dysfunction of Food: A Discussion with Kim Foster, Author of ‘The Meth Lunches: Food and Longing in an American City’.
The lecture takes place on Thursday November 14th from 12-1:30 PM on Buffalo State’s campus in Bulger Hall room 215.
Kim Foster is a James Beard award-winning author of ‘The Meth Lunches” Food and Longing in an American City’ . In her book, Foster analyzes the problem of hunger, delving into the intersectionality of systemic causes through a series of case studies interwoven with research. Foster will deliver an interactive lecture to Buffalo State and the wider community, challenging us to think differently about food and how to address the root causes of hunger.
Attendees can benefit from the presentation without reading Foster’s book. Parking will be free on campus that day.
